On our mother earth one of the oldest tourist destinations is Egypt. It all started long time ago by ancient Romans and Greeks, who came to see amazing Pyramids and Colossi of Thebes. Egypt's treasures where looted during colonial times by the British and Napoleon, who wanted to fill their national museums. These earlier visitors became a start of massive amounts of travellers, who taken on Nile cruises and lectures by Thomas Cook. Nowadays not only the monuments of the Nile Valley and mosques, madrassas and souks of Cairo are the most popular places to visit in Egypt. Coral reefs with fantastic diving experience, tropical fish, ancient fortresses, pheristoric are, monasteries and dunes are among top things to see in Egypt.
Egypt started aroung River Nile which flows its waters from Sudanese bordr to the Mediterranean sea. It makes Nile Valley very fertile and good for agriculture, but same tume Delta is flanked by wastes. Because of this difference Egypt has very specific culture developed from prehistoric times. It is a sense of permanence and timelessness that is buttressed by religion, which pervades every aspect of life.
Because of that Egypt has very multi-layered culture which respects both ancient and modern. Peasants of the Nile Valley and the Bedouin tribes of the desert continue to live almost the same way as their ancestors did a hunders and thousands years ago.
